I am using an iBook G4 OS 10.4.2 Have no success adding or removing folders from a CDRW. Keep getting this message "....do not have sufficient privileges...." I am the only person to use this Mac. Where do I find the privileges ?

my 20 inch g5 imac (original version) has been having a problem where by it appears to shut down/go sleep when your using it. it cycles (somewhat) and tries to wake up (if you hit a key) but ultimately turns completely off.

Does anyone have any input on which of these works the best? I've got a Umax S900D with 272MB ram, and which had dual 604e 200mhz cpus, but I've installed a Newer Tech 366mhz G3 upgrade card, which is working fine with OS 9.1

Most of the time Safari integrates nicely with Keychain, automatically saving user IDs and passwords for web pages in a securely encrypted file, and filling them in when needed. That's its main advantage over FIrefox, which is compatible with more sites.

I have a work iBook which has Pagemaker 6 installed along with a bunch of pm6 documents (put there by the company secretary, possibly created on a PC but I'm not sure). Pagemaker 6 runs in Classic mode under OS 10.3.9. The .pm6 icons are just blank and the .pm6 extensions are

This is a fairly new problem for me with iTunes 6. Previously I was able to burn CDs from playlists with no problem. I select a Playlist, click the Burn Disc button, am instructed to insert blank disc, I get message Checking Media....and the disc starts

Apparently, there are a number of scripting languages that have been made substitutable for AppleScript. Two that come to mind are java and python. However, that is just two more languages I do not know and don't have the time to learn right now. What I do know is awk.
