TurboTax replacement?08 Dec 2005 13:03 GMT3
The good news is that my annual delivery of TurboTax arrived today.  The bad
news is that it requires OSX and I am still on OS9.  No problem getting the
refund, but now I need somethiong else that runs on ancient versions of the
MAC OS -- like 9.2.2.

What are the Pro's and Cons?
Will iDisk work on old computers or only new?  FTP seems to work on

Dock disappears momentarily07 Dec 2005 23:44 GMT1
Sometimes when I go to click an alias icon in the dock, just as I
click, the dock disappears, the computer (my too-small, too-flimsy
iBook 12") processes noisily for a few seconds, then the dock slides
back out into the light of day. What is this little diversion?

deleting tune from iPod07 Dec 2005 02:51 GMT2
After syncing my iPod, I noticed that I had managed to import two

both versions of the tune on my iPod.

Mangia comparable cookbook/recipe program for OS X?06 Dec 2005 21:38 GMT4
My wife has been very happy with her Mac mini running OS X, especially
since we were able to get her most important OS 9 application, the
recipe/cookbook program Mangia, to run under Classic.   We are well
aware that by the time we have to replace her computer classic will no
Scrapbook06 Dec 2005 21:32 GMT3

US iTunes files run on UK laptop?06 Dec 2005 20:07 GMT4
I'm in the UK and as such I can't access the content of the US iTunes

download it on to his iTunes, is it then possible to e-mail it to me
and for me to play it on my laptop in the UK running iTunes? Or will
