How can I make an interval of, say, 2 seconds between songs?  I could do
it Toast (4?  5?  Lite).  I have no idea how to do it with Disk Utility,
OS 10.4.2

I have a iMac G5 (prior to built in iSight)  and am thinking of picking
up a Cannon Powershot S2.  This camera comes with a 30 frames per second
movie option and a USB2 interface.  Is there any way to use it as a
webcam with an iMac?  Are there any USB 2 drivers for webcams with OS ...

Drive will not mount.  Power light is green.  My machine is a Dual 867
G4 mirror.  The Acomdata drive whirs then clicks but never mounts.
This just started after upgrading to 10.4.3.  Are there any known

Can someone recommenda an image viewer that can display animated .GIF
files?  I'm currently using the Preview ap.  I could view animated
GIFs by dragging the file to a web browser, but I'd really rather have
an application that can view all graphical images.

Hi. There are apps that I want to try, but they require administrator
privileges to install.  Since I don't know exactly what these apps are
going to put on my system and do to my kernel, I do NOT want to install
them as administrator.  I want to install them as a regular user first ...

I need to create some audio messages to put on CDs and mail to
folks. All I need is a basic tool or mechanism to record voice
from either the built-in  mic or a plug in mic on my iMac (unless

Hi, I need to archive all my old work on to our shiny new server.
This works fine for all our files created in OSX as there are no file
names with '/' in them.

This is driving me crazy! Whenever i try to print from ANY program, the
application quits. Sometimes, it gives the error popup, "application
has unexpectedly quit", sometimes it says nothing. I'm running OS X

Tried Thunderbird 1.0.7 today - it downloaded a year's worth of mail from my
Yahoo account on startup - and, when I went to Yahoo mail on the web, found that
year's worth of mail gone (I had been using Apple's Mail, with the setting to
leave mail on server). I couldn't find such ...
