I need oggdec for Mac OS X. The command line utility.
Either a binary or the source code.
I can't find it on the http://www.xiph.org/downloads/ web page.
Where can I get it?

Does anyone have experience with a an OS X application
that would do what Paperport does on Windows?

do any of you have experiences with GarageBand JamPacks? Are they worth
while? I'm especially interested if they include a better sounding
"software-" piano...

Is there a good Mac app that will convert MP3 to WMA?
Prefer OS X and single or batch mode conversion.
Intending to use to minimize size of MP3 files by converting for use on
a PDA (pocket pc).

I would like to synch my desktop Mail pop mail messages to my laptop.
I understand from the boards there are some workarounds such as use an
imap account, or leave the message on server, or even as suggested on
one board - ditch the desktop.  For various reasons and limitations,

i try to convert a dvd-vob-file to divx, using toast 7.0.1 titanium on
powerbook g4 running mac os x 10.4.3.
when exporting the video the Digital Video-Export starts, a new file is
created and that's it.

So I found out that there is a win prog called pp stream that enables
you to watch TV over a stream on the internet.
It even shows NBA Basketball!!!
Is there a mac version, or any similar prog for mac out there?

An author/journalist friend has an archive of articles and chapters
written years ago in WordPerfect 3.1J. Under OS 9, she could use WP to
read and work with her files, but under OS X, this is no longer

Since it's now fashionable to use really esoteric encoding for music
files nowadays, I just can't seem to keep up.  
Does anyone know what program will play or convert shortened files,
.shn, or .mpc files?  Have .flacs taken care of with Flacer.

When trying to open a new File group for searching, I found that BBEdit
is extremly slow to display the OS X 'Open '  window..... (is BB
building a complete list of files on my HD before displaying the window
?)  is it normal ? or just my installation .....
