I'm about to do a clean installation of Tiger on my G5 iMac. I
have backed up my (large--lots of music in it) iTunes folder on an
external drive (in fact I've cloned my drive with carbon copy

When I open a QT movie, I get a message after the QT icon bounces in the
dock "The application QT player has unexpectantly quit."
However if I open the QT application first and then click on a QT movie,
it playes fine.
