Let's say I have just imported the audio from a concert video into my Mac by
using Spin Doctor or some similar audio program.
Let's also say this concert is too long to burn to a single CD and I want to

Using Office v.X with update 10.1.6 on an iMac G3 running OS X 10.4.3.
When I open Word it stalls twice and give me the msg

I have an eMac running OS X Panther.  I have total of four user
accounts and each one is set as administrator (I know that is not the
best set up).  When I try to bring up System Preferences in three of

  I just downloaded iTunes LAME and ripped a couple of discs well, but
I have a question.  It seems to come with 2 settings for ripping, one at
160bps and one for 185 vbs.  Is there any way to add more setting

... to put it succinctly. When I click on the blue menu icon, nothing
happens. Command/F still brings up the search program however, but when
I search "Spotlight," I find no application, just SpotlightPrefPane.

Ok. Now don't you think mac should have an internet service? It should
have the same services as .mac and connection features like dial-up,
dsl.

I was using Mac the Ripper fine on this Mac Mini. But then it decided to

I have a mov file, that I need to convert to something I can use in
powerpoint for windows - (in a standard installation of powerpoint).
Now I have tried to convert the mov file to mpeg1, and my first
question is whether that is the best format to use?

Hi. I believe since I updated to Mac OS X 10.3.4, when I use Thoth to
download MP3's from various newsgroups, the icons appear as either
iTunes or QuickTime Player icons....I get a mix of both icons even when

Can anyone help me in making an unrestriced copy of the Panther install
discs that cam with my powerbook. Now have Tiger and wiould like to
install Panther on another machine. The installer states it will only
