iPod Photo should be reformatted.18 Sep 2005 16:31 GMT1
I have an iPod Photo. During the holiday I made many photos. Now I am
trying to copy them to my laptop. The iPod Updater 2005-09-06 and
iTunes 5 both say the iPod Photo should be reformatted first. The
option update software is disabled.
Don't  want my router being a firewall - eDonkey problems18 Sep 2005 16:06 GMT7
OK - I'm going nuts. Sometimes my eDonkey v1.3 on OS 10.3.9 works, then
it doesn't and every time I play around with my D-Link DI-604 router
settings I just end up making things messier and messier with multiple
settings. And I've done the System Preferences - Network - Sharing - ...

"There was a problem writing to disk. Disk may be full. Mailbox will be
restored to its state before compaction." I hit OK then it takes a while
opening/importing Appleworks .cwk files with Pages or Keynote18 Sep 2005 15:50 GMT2
I've got some .cwk files from a colleague who uses Appleworks (don't
know what version and can't find out for a couple of days). I tried to
open them in both Keynote and Pages. Pages won't even entertain the
idea (they are just greyed out) and Keynote says it can't import the
Skype & Security18 Sep 2005 13:36 GMT2
Hi y'all
I don't know too much about security issues, because I run Honeypot and
Little Snitch and when it comes to it I generally say No (a girl has to
be careful).
How do I force Safari to always use the font Lucida Grande?18 Sep 2005 02:41 GMT2
Hi. How do I force Safari to always use Lucida Grande on any web page I
visit?  I tried creating my own style sheet, but I'm not sure I did it
right.  It has this:
body { font-family: "Lucida Grande" }

How can I create a distribution list in either Mail or Address Book, so
I can send emails out to a regular group in one fell swoop?
Help! Deleted iPod library (possibly)17 Sep 2005 17:29 GMT2
I think I have deleted an iPod library. I've installed new iTunes
software recently and on plugging in the iPod, got a message 'this iPod
is linked to a different library, do you want to use this library'.
well, it was late, I was v tired, I chose 'yes' which was a mistake.
DVDSP3 -  templates missing17 Sep 2005 11:07 GMT2
I recently installed DVDSP3 and can't find templates in Templates
window... I checked if files are physically present on the hard drive
and yes, they're sitting in /Application Support/DVD Studio Pro/ Templates/
Tried to move them to ~/Application Support/DVD Studio Pro/ Templates/
Another way to access Dictionary.app17 Sep 2005 06:29 GMT1
I had been using it by selecting a word, then control-clicking or going to the
Services menu, to get the definition in a Dictionary window. Dictionary.app
started running if it was not already, and stayed running.
I then assigned a keystroke to "Look Up in Dictionary". When I ...

About 4 months ago i purchased Quicktime Pro 7 for 30 bucks, i gave

mail app stopped working16 Sep 2005 16:48 GMT1
Quick question.  All of a sudden my mail app doesn't work. It works fine
on my ibook and on the web page (of course) but on my sawtooth G4 I get
nothing but the spinning beach ball. I suppose I should trash the
preferences and start up the app but I am not sure were the ...
