Last night I applied the updates to Office and it destroyed my Address Book and Calendar events! I've tried rebuilding the database but it didn't help. What can I do? Jim

I used toast to write some CDs this afternoon, and verification on one failed with an inscrutable message about the location of the failure. It mounted fine, and I didn't try all 500MB of data, but all seemed fine. I tossed the CD as a matter of caution and burned another one.

Whenever I use Acquisition I find my machine has slowed down, it feels as if the app has highjacked my computer, or something. I've looked at the Activity Monitor and it's true. But it's not the same thing with Xfactor. There mac is somewhat slower but I can use other apps. ...

I've got two computers that I regular surf on, one is a desktop, and the other my laptop. For both I use Firefox if possible, defaulting to other browsers as required for certain sites (hardly ever happens, so it's hit and miss as to which browser I use).
