I'm trying to install cdrdao, partly because I want to use it and
partly to learn about UNIX (only know a little about it). I'm running
10.3.9 with BSD subsystem and developer tools installed on a TiBook
550.

Is there a Mac program that will play a Sony ATRAC music file, or a way
to convert one into an MP3 or WAV?

I'm recommending a friend make the jump to Mac, but she wants to use
Word & Excel. Personally I won't have anything microsoft on my
hardware, so I can't advise her. Can someone using MSOrifice with

Our design studio just acquired another studio which is located in

As part of the Education Version of the Adobe Design Collection, I
have Acrobat 5.0.  This installed and ran perfectly well on my Mac OS
X box; I suspect it was version 10.1 or 10.2.  Moreover, it ran fine,
even after upgrading Mac OS X to 10.4.3.
