I have some .avi files I'd like to join (a movie in two CD-sized parts). Please, how can I do this? What program do I need. I have tried Googling, and Version tracker, but don't see an obvious choice. I have a Mac G4 tower and run Tiger 10.4.2.

Does the Ipod have a timer/auto off where after 60 minutes it'll automatically turn off. I want to listen to music on it when I get in bed but I don't want it to run all night. Thanks,

My ibook is dog slow when on the web at times. I am on a broadband connection, and I constantly am hearing disk activity in the background. I did a basic hardware test with the CD and all tested fine. I also purged the caches, and did a disk repair with disk utility and all

I've been unable to find out - even after talking to someone at MYOB - if MYOB AccountEdge v. 4 (which I'm currently using), or the new v. 5, is Tiger-compatible. Is anyone here using either of these versions under Tiger?

When someone orders a Mac -- say an iBook or a Powerbook -- with extra memory from the Apple Store website, is the additional RAM installed while the Mac is still on the assembly line? Or is an already boxed-up Mac opened and the RAM then installed?
