Hi, I just bought a Logitech Mobile Pro Bluetooth Headset for use with
Skype
on my aluminum Powerbook (running MacOS 10.4.1). Pairing the device

ISP says certificate is OK, but all my browsers don't07 Jul 2005 08:52 GMT4
I have 2 e-commerce pages which use a script the ISP has supplied to
display a SSL certificate.  I haven't changed anything recently on the
site, but just yesterday this script started reporting "Certificate
invalid" when I display the page on all the browsers I test under:
MT-NewsWatcher (again)- Page Scrolling With Space Bar07 Jul 2005 05:14 GMT1
For a while now, MT-NW doesn't ALWAYS do a complete page scroll.  Only
shifts up far enough to show the remainder of the message. Only if there
are a few lines remaining, maybe only the last line and a signature.
Nothing consistent that I can see.  Sometimes it works fine, other ...
Mail question06 Jul 2005 23:20 GMT3
I have not been able to find a way to jump
from email to email without closing the first
and clicking to open a new one. Some mail apps
will let you go from one to the next just by
iSync 2.0 crash06 Jul 2005 22:10 GMT1
When I first installed Tiger, I tried to sync my Siemens S56 using a
previously reliable Belkin BT adaptor. No matter what I tried, iSunc
would crash every time I tried to sync. I even moved the adaptor to
another Mac - same result. I blamed the Belkin - until today.  Today I
FileMaker with Tiger. Sooo Slooow06 Jul 2005 19:07 GMT5
I've just moved up from 10.3.8 to 10.4.1, and most things are faster,
but FileMaker 7.ov1??? Uggh. It's slow like years ago. Does anyone else
find this??  Is there any advice, or is FileMaker going to offer us an
upgrade??
Deleting previous installation files06 Jul 2005 16:50 GMT1
In our current environment of 2K users, we are not standardized on any
particular version.  Now we want everyone to be on 5.0.  We will be
advertising an SMS job to handle the 5.0 installation, however within
this job, we also want to manage the automatic deletion of previously
Changing default pdf reader06 Jul 2005 13:55 GMT6
Preview does NOT work with the post office's Click n Ship software in
its newest version. The post office requires Acrobat Reader 7.0 which I
downloaded, but I canot make Explorer invoke Acrobat as the default
reader. it insists on using Preview. How can I reset my default pdf
Tiger breaks hyperCard06 Jul 2005 12:41 GMT3
I've depended on hyperCard for many years, mostly for business
purposes. For that reason, I long delayed moving to OS X. I've made the
change, finally, and I've (mostly) converted my hyperCard stacks to
Runtime Revolution. I still need to run hyperCard in Classic mode
Fonts are too small in OSX 10.2.806 Jul 2005 05:03 GMT3
Anybody know how to enlarge them?  This is for all programs.  I can't
change the screen resolution as I'm using a LCD monitor with a fixed
native resolution.
Exporting Garage Band Recordings To Pro Tools06 Jul 2005 04:44 GMT3
Is it possible to export Garage Band recordings to Pro Tools? If so, can
someone point me to a site with information on how to accomplish that
goal?
Thanks,
unison question05 Jul 2005 23:54 GMT2
Still can't decide for that perfect news client.
I like unison a lot for it's clean and simple interface... BUT
I can't find a way to "watch" or label a thread, so that next time I
check the news groups it's easy to find.
how to select default mail id05 Jul 2005 22:40 GMT2
For a few days now (no idea how or when exactly it changed) when I
start a new mail it is written from another account...
jeez, that sounded weird... I'll try again:
I have set up a few accounts in mail (for different mail providers),
DSL light blinking like crazy ... Help!04 Jul 2005 22:01 GMT5
My DSL light blinks like crazy all the time.
In UNIX speak, the uptime statistic on my iMac is never less than 1.0.
I've brought up "Activity Monitor.app" and I don't see any strange
applications eating a lot of CPU.
Where is the Simpletext preferences file?04 Jul 2005 21:30 GMT3
Where is the Simpletext preferences file? I tried to delete that file
but I can't find it in the Preferences folder or with Sherlock.
I can't paste anything into Simpletext anymore. (I can copy but "Paste'
is grayed".)
