Is there a way to sync my yahoo calendar, address book and notepad with
iCal and AddressBook on the mac? It works so nicely on windows with
outlook and I don't want to have to pay for a .mac account to have the
same thing on a mac. Plus, I don't want to have to change my e-mail

The stock quote widget that comes with Tiger is barely OK.  Does anyone

After I use CD Spin Doctor to divide a large audio file up into tunes,

First the specifics: 1.33GHz iBook, 768MB RAM, VPC 7.0.2, OS 10.4.2
I had serial port accesses working fine in OS 10.4 (and I think 10.4.1) and
VPC 7.0.  When I "upgraded" to 7.0.2 (and perhaps when I did 10.4.1) that
functionality broke for all my GUI based PC apps.  None of them ...

My G4 is in my attic studio, and it gets hot up there. When I'm there,
