On the default Mac OS X caluclator, after I add, subtract, or divide
ANY 3 or 4 numbers, the screen shows an "E" Error!!
Wha'ts going on?
I'm using OS X Tiger on a G4 Dual 1000 Ghz

I have a problem with CD-R discs. I burn data discs using the mac only
setting with Toast 6.1. This is done with a Que Firewire burner on a PowerMac
G4 400mhz running Panther 10.3.9.
My iMac 333mhz tray loading CD drive also running Panther 10.3.2 will not

I'm using Hotline 1.9 on my 17" TiBook running X10.3.8
Whether I'm logged into a server or not, I get a recurring
error message anywhere from every 30-60 seconds, non-stop.
"Transport error: pending action incompatible with requested action"

I'm looking for a browser that works with MS Outlook Web Access client and
also works with SQL Reporting Services client.
Both of these services require scripting for full functionality.
My remote users on Macintosh computers cannot access these services.

Anybody got any good or bad experience to relate about moving from Sage
to MYOB? My old PC version of Sage is becoming oblsolete (V6) and I've

Upgraded to 10.4.2, and all of a sudden it won't network to an old Mac
using 8.6.

When downloading binaries I can see no way to choose where they end up other
then setting a default location in preferences. On any particular DL I may
want it go someplace else. There is a command to Extract Binaries upon which
you get to choose but HW doesn't see a whole file ...

If I create a new project within iMovie (I have the latest version) and
have it be 16:9 widescreen, what will happen if I import 4:3 footage
into it? Will it stretch the image to fit, or will it automatically add
black bars on the sides to compensate?

Finally got brave enough to install Tiger on my system, this past

MacSword and was not impressed.  The software appears to be crap.  It
will not bookmark, and I cant download any modules.  Its for people with

I upgraded from Quicken 2003 to 2005. I now feel that this was a big

I'd appreciate any recommendations anyone has for a program that can do
the following:
- Resize a *batch* of images. They'll mostly be Tiffs and I want the
program to produce Jpegs with file sizes as small as possible.
