The Finder in Tiger has a slideshow option(*) build in, but I wonder
why it shows pictures in a given folder randomly, meaning that if
the pictures are called, say 001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.jpg and so forth,

I have a Microtek V300 scanner.  I upgraded my Mac from 8.1 years ago

I have more than 4 mail accounts. I can see them all in the Mail 2.0
