Anybody know what might be required to get Route 66 to recognize this
GPS on a Mac?  I am on a PowerBook G4, running 10.3.9.
ProlificUsbSerial.ktext is installed in /System/Library/Extensions.  I
even removed the one that was there and re-installed the one from the

I'm having a problem doing the Final Cut Pro 5 tutorial:  That "Blue
Horizon Trailer" exercise.  I've dropped the first piece of video into

I have used iTunes for Windows for a long time with no problems. Last
week, I noticed it had not added some song files from several CDs I had

One annoying aspect of Mail is the lack of an option to clear mail from the
POP server upon deletion in the local inbox. Has this option been added in

I have no problem creating a web site on my .mac account for
publishing, but I would like to have the site preserve the iPhoto
comments.

Is there a program or utility that will save the entire memory state of an
application to disk so that the program can be restored and resumed at a
later time with that state?  This would be useful mainly for games, where
"save points" are few and far between.

I have a large .mpg file with the QTmpeg logo on it but when I try to
open it says "Can't open. It is not a file that QT understands. it also
won't open with Windows Media Player. I do have QT pro.

I just installed Tiger today, and was reinstalling various things,
checking to see if they had been upgraded, etc. I have been running a
nice little utility called DiskSpace 1.0b, from an operation called
Mystery Software, with the name Jeff Auerbach attached to it. It is

In January, I filled out the Apple Bug form with the following. The case was
close, with the status "behaves correct".  Does anyone prefer the designed
way? If you don't, and you are a developer, I urge you to add this to the bug
list.
