Finding Word document on iBook running OS X?16 May 2005 18:13 GMT8
A friend has an iBook running OS X. She also uses Word as her word
processor. She has written a book and saved it but now can't find the
document. I think she must have somehow saved the document to some
location other than My Documents.
iPod skipping?16 May 2005 09:50 GMT4
I have a 40GB iPod I got about a year ago.  Click-wheel version shipping

number or some indicator so we could identify which beast we are talking
about...).  At any rate, software on it is 3.02.  I also upgraded to

I have JFuse, but for 30 files at a time all the clicking is a pain. Split &
Concat is another, but the files have to be named in the form file.mp3.00x.
Any other solutions? Thanks.

Find by Content?16 May 2005 02:22 GMT2
The Mac OS used to have a Sherlock capability in which you could
periodically index or reindex your hard disk(s) and then do a very rapid
and effective search for every file on your HD(s) that contained a given
string.

Very strange, this one.
When I move the mouse over the dock at the bottom of the screen, it

right. Nor does it come back if I 'turn hiding on' and then 'turn hiding

Check writing program, simpler than Quicken?15 May 2005 04:52 GMT2
I have used Quicken for many years mostly as a chek-writing program. It
has done that OK up to this point. The old version I have will not
print anything under system 10.4. Time has come to upgrade. The easiest
thing is to simply get the latest version of Quicken and be done with
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no one can come to the Father(God)(in Heaven), but by me." (John 14:6) This means that if you die without trusting in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour you will die in your sins and be forever separated from the love of God in a place called Hell. The Holy Bible descibes Hell as a place of eternal torment, suffering, pain and agony for all those who have rejected Jesus Christ. The good news is that you can be sure you are going to Heaven when this life is over if you allow Jesus Christ to save you today. Do not wait until later to be saved because you do not know exactly when you will die. [ Posted by: RonaldGrossi3824@yahoo.com on May 13, 2005 ] [ 6:20:51 pm ]14 May 2005 21:27 GMT1
