I have Retrospect 5.0.238. I used it to backup a Windows laptop from a
Mac. Is there any way to restore a file from the Windows client backup
set to the Mac? All I want to do is store the file on the Mac so I can
transfer it to a CD.

I really like my paper-based agenda to haul around with me during the
day. I really like using my computer to keep running calendar updates

I really do appologize for asking a really "simple" question, but I
can't seem to figure this out.  I recently did the upgrade to Tiger.
In the process somehow my bookmarks got overwritten with the default
bookmarks.  I did a favorites import and have it on a CD to attach to

I have about 10 GB of music on my new iPod, and suddenly I realised
that complete albums vanish from my itunes library. They show the
missing exclamation mark in the list and they have indeed vanished from
my HD! But they are still on my iPod and stay there also after a synch.

Is there a fix for iTunes suddenly going jittery on me?
Any music on my hard-drive or played off a cd through iTunes gets
jittery.

I'm new to macs and so I've probably done something silly--I downloaded
and installed Firefox, and, for some reason, it shows up as a removable
disk drive in the Finder.
What did I do wrong?

Back-up system, Lacie disc burner,  Roxio Toast burning data to a RW CD
"incrementally",  "write session".  Data mostly Appleworks, some MS

I updated with .1 and VLC and Hogwasher have been doing strange things
since. Several text groups now display all articles and will not go back
to unread messages only in Hogwasher and VLC has crashed a couple of
times.

Can anyone tell me if Thoth works with Astraweb and/or Giganews news
servers?
