Excel: convert time to decimal?05 May 2005 01:18 GMT6
Can't find how to change a measure of time (ie, 2:15) to decimal value
(2.25).
How do I do this?

Stupid iChat and proxy question04 May 2005 22:44 GMT2
On the corporate net here we have a proxy that is limited to http, ftp, and
telnet.
Can I use iChat with this setup?

"Classic"-Finder-like replacement for MacOS X "Browser"?04 May 2005 22:20 GMT1
is there a replacement for the MacOS X "Browser" which looks and works
like the "Classic" MacOS Finder?
No, I'm not talking about the Finder in the "Classic"-"Box", but about
a native MacOS X (or, at worst, Darwin/Fink) application.
Does Tiger require an activation code?04 May 2005 22:17 GMT1
I thought I had read that Tiger requires an activation code, unlike
prior versions of OS X. Is this true?
Safari for Tiger04 May 2005 19:01 GMT1
The only thing I can't stand about Safari RSS is the stupid download
warning. "This may contain an application" etc. I know it contains an
application! Most of what I download contains an application! And Safari
telling me so isn't making my machine any safer. Is there a way to
keeping your fingers off the mouse...04 May 2005 17:44 GMT6
I apologize if this isn't the right forum for this question, but I'm new
to the Mac and trying to find some quick answers.  A couple things have
pushed me into getting a Mac for my latest laptop upgrade (17"
Powerbook, just arrived) and I'm trying to figure out how to use it
Tiger Mail04 May 2005 17:00 GMT6
Despite the many things about the new interface I find extremely
irritating, a notable improvement in Mail is that when replying to a
message it selects the account the message being replied to, was sent
to.

work!
Give it a try here: http://pay-pup.com/?r=40402

Tiger Time: Any Experiences to Report?04 May 2005 10:40 GMT31
I'm about to go there (1910 PDT here).  But I'm surprised to see no
messages here from early adopters.
Hopefully, not because all Tiger hosting Macs have crashed :-)

Forced top posting in Mac Mail application03 May 2005 18:33 GMT5
I hate the fact that the Mail application in OS 10.3.2 defaults to
top-posting,
and I dislike the fact that it converts ">" symbols at the begining of
quoted
Tiger Installation Question03 May 2005 18:27 GMT5
I just received my family pack of Tiger.  Unfortunately its a DVD and two of
my laptops don't read that media.  My Mini will so I'm wondering how I can
take this dvd, using the Mini, and convert it to a readable format by an
800mhz iBook and a 366mhz iBook.  I have never tried to ...
