All is well for me with Tiger (PB G4 1.33mgh), except that Safari will crash when I try to open it, will open on the third try. I am using Firefox as the default browser. Any ideas ?

My copy of Tiger came with a trial version of iWork. The default dictionary is (US) English. It is possible in any given document to change the dictionary to British (or other variation of) English. However, there appears to be no way to set a non (US) English default. I am sure ...

In order to make the upgrade from Panther to Tiger, I'd like to backup my files to DVD's. I'm trying to do this using Toast 6.0.7 but everytime I get the error code "file .bash_history could not be accessed".

i'm having trouble adding a pop account to mail. i enter all the information it asks for but i can't send or recieve emails. i've had a mac for 6 months so i'm semi new, i used to use outlook but now that i have a mac i tried to use mail but i can't seem to do it

I've just clean-installed Tiger onto my Powerbook G4 - I had Panther installed before. How do I get my iApps (iPhoto etc.) back? The options I can see are: 1) Reinstall Panther, and then perform an upgrade.
