iTunes Halts importing CDs, when it is unable to read them and just
hangs. Is their another way to exit the import beside using cmd option
escape to kill iTunes?

With Tiger 10.4.1 and fresh installs of 3ivx D4 4.5.1 and DivX 5.2.1 I
am unable to play avi movies that use these codecs in QuickTime.

I just upgraded to Tiger. I had used Thursby's Dave 5.1 to connect to
my home and work networks (mostly for printing and file sharing).
Unfortuntely, Dave 5.1 does not work on TIger. Thursby has announced it
will not have a Tiger solution for 3 months.

Doesn't seem to be one -- am I missing something?

I have been using Quicken Mac since about 1998.  I specifically chose it
because of the ability to directly download transactions from my bank
and to pay bills directly without having to use Quicken's Bill Pay
service.

Open X11.  Then open another application (e.g. safari). Then, switch
back to X11 and its xterm with Command+tab.  The xterm window does get
selected, but does NOT raise to the front.
