Hiding Photoshop (Mac)13 Feb 2005 08:43 GMT6
OK, Adobe decided to use Cmd-H (which virtually all other Mac apps use to
hide the current app) for something else and assigned Shift-Cmd-H to hide.
But even that doesn't work for me.
Am I the only one who is experiencing this?
FileMaker Pro Charts13 Feb 2005 07:27 GMT2
I am new to FM.
Is there a way or a plugin or an ancillary application to make graphs
and charts similar to those you can make with Excel ?
I tried a demo of ChartMaker Pro, but half of the models don't work. Is
Mail.app -> How to insert attachment for files beginning with the . character13 Feb 2005 03:41 GMT1
Any way to use mail to insert a file that begins with the . character?
I know I can rename the file via terminal, attach it that way, but I
would like to not have to go through that.
This is probably not so much a problem specific to mail, as it is to

Am I missing something with the "safe" files thing? Despite the
description of a "safe" file in the prefs, Safari has never decoded a

file I've ever downloaded. I swear, I've never used a browser so bereft
New WordPerfect mailing list / Yahoo group13 Feb 2005 03:28 GMT3
The original mailing list seems to be gone, so we've started a new one at Yahoo.
That company's hosting service also provides a platform for files and links;
about 100 have been added so far. These include sites for the entire program
download, dictionary/thesaurus files for 18 ...
Printing Carbon Copy Cloner Help files?13 Feb 2005 02:59 GMT2
Can anyone offer a tip on how to print the Carbon Copy Cloner Help

page of each individual web page.

X11 Window Help12 Feb 2005 18:23 GMT2
I seem to be stuck on full-screen with X11.  I should have kept that
preference unchecked but I wanted to see the window bigger.  Now when I have
X11 open I get a giant gray screen with no menu bar to access the
preferences.  How can I go back to a smaller X11 window?  TIA
Best PC Emulator12 Feb 2005 13:06 GMT34
I've generally done my best to avoid PC emulators, like Virtual PC, but
I may have a need to run PC coming up that I won't be able to avoid.
There appear to be several different flavors of such emulators, ranging
from $80 to $230.  In some of those cases they list the difference ...
