I've got a load of radio shows that I'm dying to throw on my iPod, but
they're all asf.   I've been searching for any way I can convert them
(on my Mac, not putting them in Windows) and am still flummoxed  I can
play them, on WNP and VLC, but not convert to mp3 (or anything else).

I've tried, repeatedly, to install gnucash.  I tried via Fink and by
download from the source.  Neither works.  Fink installs all the files,
takes about 5 minutes to do so, but at the very end it says

I am not a Mac user but I am in the proccess of purchasing a ibook for
my wife as a suprise.  My question is about the iDVD program,
specifically can you have the program encode the project as an ISO file

Browser links are frequently littered with numeric equivalents (ie, "%20") of
ASCII characters ("/" in this example).
Why can't Mac browsers interpret this as the special character that it is.
Do some browsers do this?

Hi, my Gossamer G3 is freezing at the startup page. The bar gets about 1/5
of the way across & a nasty white box appears and it freezes. This happens
with extensions off and it happens using the OS 9 disk as a boot up. The
Tech Tool cd freezes at its start up page too. I tried ...

Is it really the case (as it appears to be) that Mail cannot be set to
apply rules to Sent emails rather than just received mail? I normally
keep my replies in the same folder as the original email, but I have to
move them manually to the correct location!
