iPhoto5.0.1 fixes red-eye problem06 Feb 2005 17:27 GMT8
Version 5.0.1 of iPhoto fixes the red-eye problem I described in an
earlier post. (On photos brought in from my iPhoto4 library, corrections
to red-eye were not being saved when I clicked "Done." Now they are.)
Keyboard scrolling in web pages?06 Feb 2005 08:49 GMT1
On the vast majority of web pages that I access I can scroll or jump
vertically in the page using the up and down arrow keys on the regular
keyboard, or the Page Up, Page Down, Home and End keys on an extended
keyboard, all of which is very handy.

I for some reason loast all data in Microsoft Entourage 2004. I have
what I need on the Palm, but when I try to synch, it asks for a

Apple Mail Signatures06 Feb 2005 05:47 GMT5
I made a list of signatures and selected "randomly" for them to be added
to mail. Now I want to remove "randomly" but don't see a way to do it. I
seem to only have one other choice "sequentially." I'd rather just make
the choice as I go along.

PowerPoint and "motion path"05 Feb 2005 23:43 GMT4
One of the professors I work for needs to make a Powerpoint
presentation with animation.  He needs to have an object
move from one defined point to another.  I'm told Windows
Powerpoint has an animation option called "motion path",
can't connect to Apple's server through Software Update05 Feb 2005 23:28 GMT5
I recently changed my networking setup to use a router rather than just
a hub.  I've been trying for a couple days now to run software update
from the System Control Panel with it failing to connect to the update
server.
OpenOffice05 Feb 2005 23:22 GMT12
Recently I observed that the Vancouver Public Library has introduced
word processing stations. I haven't had the time to use them yet. All I
know about them is that they have OpenOffice installed instead of MS
Word. I have a question about OO, can I open OO docs with either
Title bar mystery05 Feb 2005 19:02 GMT2
In placing an application from my desktop into my Applications pane, I
dropped the app into the title bar rather than below it where it should
have gone.
The app showed up below in its proper place, but an icon was left in the
mail.app problem05 Feb 2005 13:06 GMT5
Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem..  when I quit
Mail, it closes the main window, but the app itself has not quit, and
you can see the "Mail" title in the menu bar, sometimes for a couple
minutes.  If I force quit, it doesn't seem to make anything bad happen,
