can anyone recommend an audio recording app. for maxosX (i have ibook
g4) where you can record an audio stream from the internet?  I like to
listen to radio shows and record them.
I'm new to the mac world (ibook g4) and so far I love it!

I have a word97 document I imported.
How can I extract the images in their full quality.
It lets me resize them larger and they stay sharp, but I can't figure out
how to yank the pic out of the doc.

I was just looking through iPhoto for certain albums, and noticing they
were gone.  I didn't blow them away, but they're gone anyway.  And
there's an empty album called "Apocalypse", which I'm sure I didn't put
there.  Anyone ever seen behavoir like this?  Any idea what's going ...

Lately Word 2004 has been taking forever to launch and has been

I have a copy of MS Office on my G5 iMac. However, Apple installs a
trial copy of this on all new G5a. the other day, for some reason,
double clicking on a word file caused the Mac to start the trial
version, which then auto installed. Now everything opens in the trial

I am using Mac OS X (10.3.7) and the computer I'm connecting to is same
OS.
I find that transferring files using "connect to server' apple file
sharing terribly slow, but it does keep file attributes intact.

I'm trying to figure out if I can get VLC to play a string of music video
clips for a party. My first stumbling block is a source for free music
video that VLC will play.

Hello, I use Toast to burn SVCD's of my iMovie projects, which works very
well.  I just drag the Quicktime .mov file that is automatically
generated by iMovie to the Toast window, select SVCD, and click burn.

I'm testing out SuperDuper! for backing up my hard drive. I have started
from another volume and Super Duper! is crashing every time when trying to
back up the volume to a disk image with 10.2.8. It gets right near the end
of the backup process but then crashes. Any ideas if this ...

I will be getting my wife an iPod soon, so I've started early on the
process of ripping our LARGE CD collection. I realize that I am not
that young anymore, and it will take a long time to insert each CD for
ripping. Is there some juke-box-like machine that I could hook up to

1) It is apparently not possible to create subfolders in the albums. Is it ?
2) Can I create more than one iPhoto library ? And access them at will ?
