Does anybody of an application which would enable me to drop a folder of MP3s onto it and segment them into playable chunks of a specified file size (or specified play length, though that seems unlikely, since the app probably wouldn't know about bitrate etc.)

I recently switched to a Mac from Windoze/OE and am very happy with it, but it needs iNews! I downloaded Netscape to get NGs, but is there a way to "no archive" my posts automatically? If not, any other suggestions?

It appears that the 10.3.8 update has broken my user login that has FileVault turned on. From the other logins everything appears fine but the FileVault user just gobbles up disk space at an alarming rate with nothing (by the user) running. I've tried many of the usual suspects.

Got a G3 iBook. Upgrade over years from OS 9 to 10.2.8. Now I've recently purchased a HP 2610 All in One printer (Min req't OS 10.2.3). But, when I open up old Word DOCs (Launches via Classic) it only lists the old (removed) printer.

When creating a new Event in an iCal calendar, I specify time, date, etc. and in the URL field I put an http link. When the time comes, the alarm window opens on the display and the selected sound is played. But the URL doesn't do anything; no browser opens.

Sometimes (well, a lot) when I go to download a file I get a "failed to load" error using Safari or other programs. Sorry for the broad question, but any ideas as to why...or how to fix it?
