I would like to use AbiWord as my wordprocessor in OSX. I downloaded it,
configured it for the Catalonian language version, and now want to add
the Catalan spell check, that I downloaded ( a has file and an encoding
file) but the Catalan language does not appear in the spell ...

I started using iPhoto 5 because it allows for more book options and
double-sided printing. However organizing the photos for a book is
ridiculous, especially coming from the easy-to-arrange iPhoto 3.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get TeXShop to print in landscape
mode?  I'm making landscape-style slides for a talk, and I can get OzTeX
to print them correctly, but I'd really like to do it in TeXShop if

OK, I've finally and mostly made the transition from an old OS 9 iBook
G3 to a new OS X iBook G4, and it's mostly been worth the hassle; but
there are a couple of legacy OS 9 applications I still need that won't
be upgraded to OS X for a while.

I want to develop and upload a simple web page to a personal web space.  I
wrote the document in Word (including pictures) and saved it as a Web page,
but when I looked at it in Explorer the pictures didn't display - they just
show up as empty graphics blocks.  I'm a total HTML ...

What formats does BOMArchiveHelper support?  I know it does .zip and
.tar, but can it handle .gz?  I've tried using Get Info to change the
Help App for .tar.gz files to BOMArchiveHelper, but it changes them to
.cpgz (gzipped cio archives?)?

why is it that java will work in os9 and not osx? the chat apps will
not load under OSX......whats the deal? what do i need to
do?.......PLEASE HELP...........
