iPhoto proof sheets28 Jan 2005 16:38 GMT9
I keep posting this but I am not seeing any replies.
When I print a proof page from iPhoto, the right and left pictures have
their edges cut off.  I have tried printing with a border, changing the
number of prints on a line and so on.  Nothing seems to work.  Normal
FireFox password problem...28 Jan 2005 14:55 GMT1
Don't get me wrong; I love FireFox. I use it on my office G5 without any
problems at all... but ....
On my home desktop G4 the FireFox password manager - doesn't. I set it up
in exactly the same way as I did on the G5, and it's clearly active in
iSync particular entries in Address Book28 Jan 2005 14:53 GMT1
My Address Book is getting rather large.  I also happen to use iSync to
synch it with my cellular phone.  On a day-to-day basis, I do not need
to store my entire Address Book on my cell phone.  Indeed, I would
prefer not to, so as to cut down on the nuumber of entries to search
iMovie updates?28 Jan 2005 08:20 GMT6
According to my brief research, iMovie 3 is distributed on the 10.3 CDs. I
have no CDs for any of the updates (downloaded from Apple web site), so I
don't know what iMovie updates were distributed with the OS updates.
Is iMovie 4 available on any of the OS updates? iMovie 5?

Do you know how simple it is to go to Heaven after this life has ended?
Some people believe that belonging to a local church, temple, mosque or

Remoting in from a Windows Machine27 Jan 2005 17:38 GMT3
I've been wanting to get up to speed with Macs, but never wanted to
spend the $1K to purchase a machine.  But now with the mini-Mac, I'm
considering it.  I'm assuming that I can throw the mini-mac on my KVM
switch and be good to go (as long as I get a PS2 to USB converter for
Archive app for ebooks... ?27 Jan 2005 14:10 GMT3
There are a few good apps out there for achiving things: delicious
library, books, etc... but these apps only catalogue physical things
like books, DVD's, CD's, etc...
I have a big collection of ebooks, and was wondering if there were an
Utility To Alphabetize?27 Jan 2005 13:50 GMT9
Friend of mine asked me the following:
"By any chance do you have a program that will take a text file or
document file with a list of words on it and with click of a button it
will put all the words in alphabetical order?"

iWork: presentation program?26 Jan 2005 23:02 GMT5
I've been told iWork is something like a presentation program, with
Keynote targeting a screen and Pages targeting paper. That would
actually be what I need. Could that be verified by those who already
had a look on it? Is it possible to make simple "drawings" in Pages,

Does anyone know of a finance app for the mac, which supports UK dates
