Need suggestion for image database application10 Jan 2005 04:47 GMT6
Over the course of quite a number of years, I've put together a totally
disorganized collection of photos. They're on ZIP disks (yes, that far

and now that I finally have a negative scanner, the number will ...

I use iTunes 4.7 on 10.3.7 at work and home, and am looking for some
solution to the problem of things getting out of sync.
Is it possible to leave all the files at home and simply use iTunes'
playlist sharing?  I believe this doesn't work beyond the subnet. :(  Is
RAW Developer09 Jan 2005 07:30 GMT7
I'm considering buying the program to diddle with the RAW files my D70 can
generate, but I'm completely clueless on how to go about diddling.
Anyone know of online resources or books on just how the heck to go about
it? I assume this program hasn't got the big crowds using it to ...

QuicKeys, MacSOUP, Kensington 11-button trackball and triple-click.09 Jan 2005 04:29 GMT8
Since going over to MacOS X, I have been unable to have my Kensington
11-button trackball perform triple-clicks, an action very nice to have
the right-button perform in applications that don't support contextual
menus. Like MacSOUP.

OS X:  App-specific documents in the Apps folder, or the Docs folder?08 Jan 2005 09:10 GMT11
If an application (MS Word, let's say, or Photoshop) generates and edits
*many* documents for many projects, it seems reasonable to put the app
and its associated package components in the Apps folder, and put the
various  documents in some hierarchical, perhaps project-oriented
Coverting VHS tapes to DVD08 Jan 2005 05:09 GMT13

Virtual PC07 Jan 2005 22:21 GMT4
As a website-designer using a Mac I need a way of testing sites in
windows based browsers. Initially I was going to get a cheap PC and use
that, but it would look ugly in my office, take up too much room and
make too much noise..Plus it would probably break down all the time!
Railroad Tycoon 3 -- Scores07 Jan 2005 20:46 GMT2
How do you record your score?  I completed the first campaign (Go West)
and won the Gold in Easy mode.  However, it was not recorded in scores.
