IE7 Install fails29 Nov 2006 03:01 GMT4
After the download process a message comes back that IE7 install failed and
to restart. When I check the log all it gives is a 0x05 error. Microsoft
doesn't seem to want to reply to this. Is there any benefit to IE7?

After upgrade to IE7 the back and forward buttons are not showing. In there
place is an Adobe Toolbar which isn't showing in toolbars list so cannot be
removed.
Anyone any ideas to get back and forward buttons back?

I recenlty installed IE7.0.5730.11 and since then cannot download pictures
embedded in web pages. All I get is the place marker with a red X. I know
this has been discussed on the beta releases but I cannot find a solution.
I aready lowered my security levels and I have also tried ...

I'm installing IE 6 via a batch script. From the command line, how can I
determine which version of IE is installed so that I don't install ver. 6 if
it, or a newer version, is already there?
Also, can I do the exact same thing but with Quicktime 7?

It takes for ever to open my local webserver as a home page. IE6, FireFox and
Opera open it in less than a second.
Opening  a new tab makes the whole computer hang for half a minute. Anyone
else experiencing problems? What's the solution? Stick with IE6? Use FireFox?

Sorry if this seems very basic, or if it's in the wrong place.
I've just moved to a mac,
When editing Webpages on a PC, I would just view the HTML source code
(in word pad),

Installation went smoothly over IE6 in Win XP updated. Broadband connection
stayed live at end of installation and MS web site was live OK. But when I
closed IE7 my broadband connection crashed. Tried everything could think of
without avail so removed IE7 - which fortunately ...

when i try to add a site to the trusted sites list, it does not appear in the
list. when i try to add the site again i recieve the error message:
"the site you specified already exists in another zone. please remove the
site from that zone before adding it to the current zone."

When I click on Tools, internet options,setting, when setting window opens
and when I click OK the window frose and I have to click (ctrl,alt delete to
