Hello --
My experience is with PCs.  I am helping a Mac user upgrade her system.
Can anyone tell me what is the highest version of IE that I can install on a
Mac running 9.0.4?

On certain wesbites that I know are safe, I get a message that says "click to
run active X control on this webpage", and as soon as I do, I get an error
message that says that Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs
to close", and it closes IE.

Since installing IE7b2 I can no longer access any computers on our my windows
network when connected by ethernet. I can still browse the web and I can see
the other PCs on the LAN but can't connect to them. However, if I connect to
the LAN via wireless I can connect to and browse ...

Love the new IE7B2, but for some reason it always loads the various web sites
very slowly.  I have an internet cable commection with very high speed.  Is
the security checks built into IE7 the reason things now load slowly.  Kind
of reminds me of the days that I had a 56k ...

I've yet to enter the 21st century, still using OS 9.1 and IE 5.1. I've

I am a new Mac user and need help.  I can watch video clips that
require Windows Media Player.  I downloaded the player but now it is
asking for Internet Explorer.  Since so much on the web requires WMP,
