Some Secure Sites Won't Let Me In11 Oct 2004 19:09 GMT4
I have registered with several secure sites.   Some let me sign in with no
problems.   Others give me this message: "Security failure.  Data decryption
error."
I contacted that web site.  They sent back an e-mail saying Microsoft

After using a cbs.com home page for a few months, I've tried to choose
a different one, but it keeps going back to the old one. Even the
default home page, msn.com changes to the cbs.com after a couple of
times.  I've tried removing the explorer preferences, but this doesn't

Really strange. It just started. Happens every time I try ebay.com.
It used to work fine. Ebay must've changed something.

I hadn't used eBay in a month or two, but decided to check after
seeing the posts about crashes with this combination of OS and IE version.

Problem viewing pages with frames IE 5.2.307 Oct 2004 19:26 GMT2
Hi. I designed a website using no JavaScript, but with frames using the
<FRAMESET> tags. It works correctly in Safari and Netscape Navigator,
but not in Internet Explorer 5.2.3 on a Mac using OS-X.

I have problems viewing web pages, sometimes I don't see the page,
sometimes the page doesn't look like in another computer, sometimes I
can not access to some sections of the page.
I have a PB G4 OS 9.2 with internet explorer 5.0

I need to view Arabic websites for one of our users to read
the text in arabic language. this will work on OSX using
safari and firefox, but not in IE. The same thing happens
on all browsers in OS 9. Its defaulting to a unicode format

I have always kept my preferences setting at "ask for each site".  Once I
changed it to "never ask", and now I cannot get it to accept the "ask for
each site" setting.  Whenever  the computer goes to sleep it resets itself
to "never ask".  I've trashed the preferences and still ...
