Hello,  I was experimenting with the "onLoad" frameset event handler
and noticed that on Mac IE 5.2 for OS X, when you click 'Refresh', the
handler does not get invoked.  Thus, on Mac IE 5.2 for OS X, the

I get this error when I try to access a certain website.  The owner of
the site said it was because I was using a Mac and that I'd have to
change my security settings but I have no idea what to change in order
to fix the problem.  Any help would be much appreciated.

I have an iBook and am using Mac OS 10.2.8
I am consistently getting this error message "Attempt to load....has
failed".  Sometimes it take 3-4 attempts before the new page will

Can't view or open jpeg images25 Apr 2004 04:01 GMT1
When I view some sites or try to open jpeg images my explorer 5.1 says
that it 'doesn't know how to handle the type of file selected'
I can then either save to disk or configure an application.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

When I open up a window in IE now, I get a full screen size window.
How can you select the size of a new window when it opens? I could not find
anything in *Preferences* or help to address that issue.

I cannot download any files from the internet, whether using AOL (my
primary ISP) or Internet Explorer.  When I try, the pages just
refresh, but no downloads!  I'm using a G4 PowerBook, OSX Jaguar & a

Was told by AOL support person that I needed IE 5.1.7 (instead of IE
5.0) for my OS 9.1 on my iMac. Was instructed to download the .hqx.
Did that but now have an IE 5.1.7.smi on my desktop & it won't open
due to "error type -39"

I am operating system 9.2. An image appeared in the header from an
eBay page. It is between the "forward" button and the "stop" button.

I have a Mac G3 beige tower, 233mhz, OS 8.6, 320mb RAM. When I have
multiple windpws open, and close one, Explorer quits, and shows a
window showing a type 11 error has occurred. This was happening with
64mb RAM, I upgraded to 320mb, still happens. I increased the memory

When visiting certain sites an Internet Script Alert window appears
requesting that I select 'yes' in my Secutity Warning Window. This
error also seems to be applicable to an increasing number of sites.
Can anyone offer any help or guidance on this matter?
