trying to have IE be the defaut browser in 10.3
Safari pops up when clicking on anything having to do with the web

I have just in the last two days experienced having my browser
rejected by Hotmail.  I am using Explorer 5.1.7.  I thought it was
corrupted so I downloaded  a new edition of  5.1.7 and deleted the
explorer preferences. Does anyone know if Hotmail has decided to

mac freezes when on ebay and pop up menus appear29 Jan 2004 02:22 GMT1
I am using a mac G4, 9.04 OS and Explorer 5.1.7
When I am surfing the net, especially when on Ebay, my mac freezes up and I
need to reboot to continue. Usually when a pop up menu is trying to be
displayed. Any ideas?

Yesterday I was using Internet Explorer 5.2 on my powerbook.  I logged
off, went away, and came back an hour later intending to log on again.
But now, everytime I launch IE, a dialog box instantly appears
telling me that "Internet Explorer has unexpectedly quit."  What is

Internet explorer 5 crashes whenever  I try to upload file attachments

My college doesn't support 5.2.3, and I need to find and install 5.2.2 in
order to do the work for an internet based course.  It has taken me two
weeks just to get this information from the school, and I am really in a

i'm using IE 5.2.3 on a G5.  i've used IE for years.  This is a new
IE, however, that came with the new G5.  everything is basically fine,
except that any info i've put in FORMS AUTOCOMPLETE goes away each
time i shut down IE.  my autofill profile is fine...everything else

I"m not sure what I did, but I have a Mac G4/ 400 and 9.2.2 and I was
having a crashing problem so I reinstalled my system software (but

I am having trouble saving an html file in IE for Mac 5.2.3.  When I click
on Save As, the file is saved as a text file which is enoded and
unlegible.  When I email someone the file they can't read it either.  I
don't think it is my email program - Entourage because Safari will ...
