When I installed Panther, IE worked fine. Yesterday, it started acting starnge -- when I hit the search tab all I get is a blank screen. All kinds of flaky stuff has been happening with messenger and Hotmail, but this is the most repeatable and consistent.

I'm using IE 5.2.3 with Mac OS 10.3.1, and since this update from Explorer 5.2, I cannot delete the cookies anymore... I've deleted all the preferences in the system, all the cookies, cache files, etc... Without any result...

I installed the latest version of IE on a new laptop running Panther, and although preferences accepts changes, and they stay for the duration of not only that session but any session prior to a reboot, once the machine is rebooted the IE preferences return to defaults.

For some odd reason, IE 5.2.3 will not run on my G5 Dual 2 GHz Mac. It acts like it is starting, but then just disappears. I am running Mac OS X 10.3.2. I watched the console when I clicked on the icon, and the following line appears each tim e I try to start IE:
