I've noticed that when downloading large files via
Internet Explorer, it is possible to cancel the download
and then resume the download later without having to
start over.  My question is : where is that temp file

I just moved up to os x(10.2.6) on my G4 and upgraded to IE 5.2.3. I have
set my homepage for my.yahoo.com. It works a couple of times then,
inexplicably, the next time I request home, explorer says it can't find my
page. When I check my preferences, something has added a space ...

We have a problem and I'm sure someone else has solved it since it would be
a very common problem.  How do I get a MAC browser to page break?  The
standard way just does work.
It would be nice if the solution you give us on this would work with Safari

I downloaded IE 5.2.3 (I had 5.2) and installed it but when I open IE
I still get 5.2.
How do I get it to use the new one?

I have been unable to launch IE 5.2.3. When opening the file I get the

I subscribe 2 days ago to this newsletter and since I receive 15 email with
virus in attachement. there are all supposed to come from Microsoft, it
always patch,upgrape or update.exe
Is my address became public, Is there any way to secure the newsletter again

Anyone else have this problem? I am running on a G5, OS x.2 (Jaguar).
I can't get any of the preferences (Custom Homepage url, Making the
icon only instead of icon and text, etc) to save under the Preferences
menu. They are okay for the entire time I use IE, but when restarted,

I have recently set my cookie prefs to "never ask".  After relaunching
Explorer a time or two it is resetting itself back to "ask every
time". How do I get the pref to remain permanently?

of internet explorer for Windows. Which would be the equivalent for

Hello, I'm getting the strangest error,
And I can't figure out the problem.
I build websites for small businesses,
And I upload "testsites" to my members space

I have an Intranet in my company, but I have a serious problem, I do
not need the forms and manuals be dowloaded, it only can be used but
dont be downloaded automatically.
Someting like the plug-ins in Windows Explorer.

For .Net developer what should we take care building a web
application for IE for Window and Mac. We can test the
application on Windows platform but as we don't have MAC
so how do we test the web application for MACs.

I am running MSIE 5.1 on a Mac G4. I have Chinese fonts installed on my
computer and have added to the Preference's language window. When I go
to visit a Chinese web site all Chinese characters display as a question
mark. I did change the View Character set to Traditional Chinese ...

My IE 5.1.7 keeps getting fatter and fatter. It's now up to 21MB, almost
rivalling my also bloated operating system (9.2.2) in excess.  Any
suggestions for bringing one or both back to a leaner state?
