Specify -P <profile> ?31 Dec 2003 15:14 GMT2
I want to be able to click on a Mozilla or Netscape 7 icon and have it
automatically launch with a profile I pre-specify.  On Unix and Windows
this is easy; the mozilla binary is just called with -P <profilename>.
How can this be done on OS X ?
oops!24 Dec 2003 02:17 GMT2
"Ignore thread" has never worked for me in Netscaqpe or Mozilla.
(Marks all in the thread read, but new ones still appear next session)
Someone said the latest version works, so I upgraded.
Now "Clear Filter Log" does nothing.

Online Automatic Stop13 Dec 2003 16:05 GMT3
For my MacG4/OS9.2, I just installed NS 7.02. When I turn on my computer,
NS automatically opens, which is good. But it automatically  goes online,
which is bad. My last NS, 4.77, didn't do that. The Remote Access app
doesn't seem to help. How can I cause NS to open without going ...

skins for HTML-controls??11 Dec 2003 16:27 GMT7
while it's nice to have a "looks the same on all plattforms" - browser,
I'm not working on all plattforms. Now, when I'm using Firebird or
Mozilla to view a page that uses controls like buttons, scrollbars or
dropdown.lists, my eyes hurt from those square, grey things Gecko

Starting this week, I've included a build of a trunk Firebird with SVG

Devel package needed09 Dec 2003 20:41 GMT2
I am porting on MacOSX an application running on Linux and using the xpcom
library. On (RedHat) Linux I installed the mozilla-devel rpm, containing
all the C/C++ header files. Is there such package available for MacOSX?
If not, is there a way to get those headers without building ...

Camino 0.7 German - Test release08 Dec 2003 01:56 GMT2
I just noticed that the Camino localization mailbox doesn't exist any more.
(mail bounced). So I post the message here:
After being annoyed that I could not install Camino for people who can't speak
English well, I just went ahead and created a German version today.
OSX build problems for SVG branch07 Dec 2003 16:23 GMT3
I am posting this question here in hopes of getting some type of help
on a problem that appears elusive. (Thanks to those who have helped
me to date on this problem.)

Mozilla and Netscape wipe out each other's bookmarks03 Dec 2003 23:40 GMT4
I have Mozilla 1.6a and Netscape 7.0 running under OS X 10.1.5.
I prefer Mozilla, my wife still likes using Netscape better. We use the
Mac under one Mac user name, but we have separate Netscape/Mozilla
profiles. Whenever we shut down one and use the other, the bookmarks in
System prefs default browser = Mozilla, but IE opens instead.03 Dec 2003 16:48 GMT1
I am using Mozilla 1.6a Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O;
en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031029 on a Mac running OS X v 10.1.5.
I have the above Mozilla, Netscape 7.0 and just in case I have to read a
web page designed by some "Works best [only works] with IE 5.0 or
