has of today MAcOS X 1à.1 is still supported by Mozilla. Camino 0.8 will

Building Camino in Panther27 Oct 2003 04:53 GMT1
Like a good chunk of the Mac-using world, I installed Panther yesterday.
After getting my development environment set up, I got the latest
version of Camino from CVS, and attempted to build it.  All of the
mozilla components seemed to build fine, but I ran into this problem in

Help needed: someone with a mac build system17 Oct 2003 12:26 GMT2
Following up on my recent post to npm.xpinstall... I need someone with a
mac build system to help me finish bug 20640 and the
PACKAGING_20030906_BRANCH. If you have the time to pull and build this
branch and run a few tests for me, it would be a great help.

Suppose a Usenet troll has a from line

java?14 Oct 2003 05:30 GMT4
Why is it that even though I have java installed, it never seems to work
- as in it is not detected - when I land on page.  IE and Safari work
fine, but no Moz based browser will work.  :(
Gecko plugin for Safari?13 Oct 2003 10:04 GMT4
I just went through the relevant links on mozilla.org and mozdev, but
I'm still unsure: how easy/hard is it to create a Gecko plugin for the
Safari browser? What current project would best serve that purpose?
We'd like to offer Safari users a good browsing experience, but at the

Annoying context menu on click11 Oct 2003 22:32 GMT5
Is there a way to set Mozilla to stop opening the context menu if you click
the mouse too slowly?  All my other OSX apps conform to the standard
cmd-click for a context menu, but Mozilla (1.4) insists on opening a context
menu (modal, BTW) whenever my fast-twitch muscles are not up ...
Printing Backgrounds in Mozilla on the Mac08 Oct 2003 21:06 GMT1
How is the world do you turn this option on?
The Page Setup dialog is just Mac OS X's default, with no Mozilla specific options.
Thanks,
Michael

How to open .php file with Mozilla05 Oct 2003 04:25 GMT3
Is there a way to open (preview or edit) local plain-html files with

Crash in Moz_1.4, 1.5 and NS_7.105 Oct 2003 01:31 GMT2
I have just installed Netscape 7.1 on my iBook running OSX 10.2.6. To
my surprise, a bug persists which I have reported to Mozilla (in
several Talkback incidents) repeatedly. Apparently, nobody noticed.
(Maybe I should learn to use Bugzilla ...)
refreshing newsgroups in Mozilla?03 Oct 2003 17:22 GMT1
Greetings. I am really enjoying Mozilla, and hope I can contribute some
more thought-provoking questions than this, but I cannot seem to get
Mozilla to update newsgroup messages. I have tried the Get Msg options
from both the file menu and the toolbar, to no avail. Yet I know ...
