I'm trying to install Mozilla 1.2.1 on MacOS 8.6 (french).
The installer stops with a -229 error. Here is the log :

    I need the magic trick to makes LiveConnect works on a Mac (OS X
10.2.6) with 1.3.1 or 1.4.1 (Mozilla is loading the 1.3.1).
    I found the related bug (164712) as fixed, but its test case does not

We are a PC/Windows based company but I got an Ibook to use for web page
testing. It's apparently rather old, the OS X version is 10.0.4.
I downloaded the Mozilla, Firebird, Camino Versions advertised on
mozilla.org - none of them works on this machine :(

I was quite happy with Mozilla until I got me a router for connecting my
private net to the internet.
I plugged the router and started to connect the router with mozilla to
configure the router. The result was a system crash, and my computer
