I have been running Excel 2008 for a few months without a problem but recently 'lost' the standard toolbar. It is ticked in the View-toolbars menu list but is not displayed.

I have created a data source in excel for mailing labels. I am using the Avery template 8462 in Word. When I complete the merge there is data merged into the bottom border of the labels and is throwing off the rest of the print job. I have over 30 pages of labels ...

one of my columns contains a full date but is formatted to only display
year and month. When using it in a PivotTable Report this reverts to the
default format, and rows are grouped by day instead of year>month :(
Can I circumvent this by modifying some formula in the report?
