Hi - Feeling a little stupid, but: Both my x and y axes labels are set numerically. How do I change the column headings to be alphabetical?

I found that Excel 2008 freezes whenever I double-click on an Excel
file to open it.  I have a MacBook Pro with 4Gb of RAM installed.  I
found that this does not happen if I open a file through the File menu
in Excel.

I need to change the menu bar just for one worksheet in the workbook.  Need

my excel 2008 used to work well, when suddenly it started to crash.
It crashes all the time, no matter if i just open excel or try to open
any file.
I use leopard 10.5.2 on macbook air

I have a row of data containing 2 inseparable and related columns that I want
to compare with all other data rows.  
The first column contains an order #, which could contain text and numbers
and in the same row, is the second related column, which contains an amount

I am using the following to enter data into cell A2 sheet 1. Then have that
data transfered to sheet 2 the next available cell in column A.

When I go to print an Excel document nothing prints. The pages come out blank. The pages do not even show up in print preview. Is there a setting that needs to be changed? I've never encountered this problem ...

Hi guys,

Having recently installed 2008 I keep getting caught out by 1904.
Please remind me how to set the default in the template to 1900 so all new
sheets are set to 1900.

Having trouble deleting and moving files within Excel.

excel has the built in function Index(range, row_no, column_no)
is there a comparable VBA function (xlIndex?)
