I like to keep lists that include columns of web addresses or email addresses. Excel automatically formats them as hyperlinks and I can find no way to turn this off. In MSWord you CAN turn off autoformating of a hyperlink. How can I turn off automatic hyperlinking? (Thanks)

The information says I should be able to open this - what am I doing wrong? I'm new to Mac....please help..... Says file may have been damaged or modified from original format. I have also tried .xls files and nothing will open from my Office 2007....???

Pat - I saw your name on a couple of groups concerning Excel errors under OS X. The program used to work fine, no everytime i start up, it tried to open up a new sheet, then immediately crashes to show this error.
