My formatting looks perfect on the screen, ut then in preview or when I print it comes out differently. Mostly the error occurs in the cells that I merged and wrap to fit. Any Ideas how to fix this.

When I write a decimal number, there is a comma instead of a point.
How do I change the general format to points? I have 2004 version. I
have tried changing languages and it doesn't work.  PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I recently installed excel 2008, i had the 2004 version running on my computer, now some documents open and some do not i get an error message saying "file.xls cannot be accessed the file may be read only or stored on an unresponding server " but other documents open

How do I Unprotect data-entry cells in an otherwise protected worksheet?

I have column of entries, each of which has a cell with text
consisting of a few letters, either 'DPA', 'DP', 'ST'
I'd like to make a formula where the text points to a value given in
another cell - a key as it were.

Having created a workbook page, I would now like to eliminate all the extra pages or sheets. It fits nicely on one page.

I'm trying to graph out three separate lines. i can get the "dots" to show up. the problem is getting the lines to show up.

When I click the icon on the tool bar for the Formatting Palette, the FP
flies from the tool bar to below the bottom of the screen out of sight.
When I click again it flies back up to the tool bar again out of sight.  I'd
like to use it, but I can't catch it.
