Pretty suspicious, especially since they all seem to be at the same
level of naivete regarding Excel usage.

I'm wondering if there's a keyboard shortcut to close the Find window without having to move the mouse over and click on the "Close" button.

In Office 2007 I can cut and "paste special" with a variety of options, one of which is to transpose rows to columns and vice versa.
How do I do this in XL2008? Other than choosing to format according to the destination there don't seem to be any paste options

currently using Excel 2004 for Mac. The office open xml converter for mac does not support the xlsm file format. How can I convert an xlsm file to a format that I can open on Excel 2004 for Mac?

In previous versions of Excel, when you were creating a chart, it would ask you for the source data for the X-values and the Y-values. In Office 2008, it just asks for the Y-values. I cannot figure out how to enter source data for the X-values, so you get labels, rather than just

In Excel 2007 for Windows, I could color-code the tabs for the various sheets in a workbook. I can not find any way to do that in Office 2008 for Mac. Does anybody have a clue?
