I thought I was helping someone, but now I'm not so sure. There's a pile of posts from different usernames, all at "officeformac.com" Pretty suspicious, especially since they all seem to be at the same level of naivete regarding Excel usage.

I'm still using Excel X (2001). I'm wondering if there's a keyboard shortcut to close the Find window without having to move the mouse over and click on the "Close" button. (There are no red, yellow, green buttons in the upper left of that window, BTW.) Thanks!

In previous versions of Excel, when you were creating a chart, it would ask you for the source data for the X-values and the Y-values. In Office 2008, it just asks for the Y-values. I cannot figure out how to enter source data for the X-values, so you get labels, rather than just

In Excel 2007 for Windows, I could color-code the tabs for the various sheets in a workbook. I can not find any way to do that in Office 2008 for Mac. Does anybody have a clue? Thank you!
