I have not inserted a Text Box in an Excel spreadsheet recently but I recall
that in earlier versions of Excel 2004 that one used to be able to go under
the "Insert" pulldown menu to "Text Box."  I can find no such option now.

Created a workspace.  Excellent.
Just realized that I want to add an additional workbook to this
workspace without having to recreate a new workspace.
How do you add a workbook to an existing workspace?

this problem just started over night.  I will happen with any mouse
(Apple Wireless or Microsoft).  It also happens when the control key
and left mouse click is used to obtain the secondary menu.  Excel
crashes before the secondary menu can appear.  Right Click and Control

I am copy and then pasting on Excel. The clip board keeps coming up every
time to ask about the formatting. I want it to stay on "Match Destination
format"
Can anyone help me to work more efficiently?

After upgrading to an Intel iMac running Leopard, and using Apple's
migration assistant to move files over, Excel tells me I can't open a
key workbook because it is already open. In theory it opens if I go
through the application (instead of by clicking on the document icon),

When I type in a well-known word that uses diacritic marks, such as
café, the accent mark is automatically appended.  This is causing
problems when I create a .csv file of the document and upload into a
content management system.  Does anyone know how to disable this

Every time I create a new worksheet, I have to manually change the
view to Normal and go into preferences and unclick page breaks. How
can I set up excel so this is my default?

I receive the above error when I try to open more than 1 large spreedsheet
(they are over 25mb in size).  I can open the Excel application multiple
times and then open those same individual files within each Excel program
without problems.  

I'm currently making an invoice template and want an invoice number to
appear on each invoice - changing to the next number each time.  Is
there any way to accomplish this in excel?

Help!  Last night I installed some old MS updates and suddenly the
"File" menu in Excel no longer appears.  My menu reading says Excel -
Edit - View, etc. vs. Excel - FILE - Edit - View.  I was working alot
in Excel - so who knows - maybe my hand slipped and I did something

Lost a lot of work because of this  today.
I sometimes accidentally click on a file that is already open.
Excel (word too) says, do you want to revert to open document, you will lost
all your work. ... So I click ok, not bothering to read last words about

My intern spent two hours of work on excel file. He did not save file.
I  accidentally closed it BUT Excel did not ask to save, curious why not.
In word I always get, "do you want to save" thanks.
