I download data from online databases and it arrives as am xml file.
Previous versions of Excel for Macintosh will not open these files in

When I installed Office 2008 for Mac there were no problems. My old Excel
2004 files located in my home folder were preserved.
However, the file located in my Office 2004 Excel "Startup" folder was

I have a very large range whereas I have 0's, 1's and 2's. The values
represent dates for classes in columns. (Example: Column D represents an
instructor and at some location down the column there is a 1 for start date
