| Form ruler behave strangely | 22 Jan 2008 21:00 GMT | 6 |
This is sort of a bug that renders Excel unusable. You can reproduce the bug in very few steps. Open a blank sheet Show the form toolbar Create a horizontal or vertical ruler Now try to click on the directional arrows of the ruler, or anywhere on the ruler... You'll see your

| Multiple spreadsheets to PDF | 22 Jan 2008 18:26 GMT | 4 |
When I try printing a multiple sheet file to PDF (Acrobat 8) I seem to get exactly the (poor) result I got with Excel 2004 - namely it ends up printing one page only. Seems to go through the print process, "over-writing" as it goes along and ending up with the last page. I have tried

How do I save spreadsheets so all users are able to edit? When I create a spreadsheet and save under "shared" users, another user can access the file, but as "read only". Thanks!

HiNot sure if this has been mentioned before, but I have searched to no avail....I have a grid template setup where I have to draw diagrams of housing plans. In Office 2004, there is an option to "Snap To Grid" when drawing lines in Excel (so that all lines meet up and are square

I am making a large inventory list that I want to have available in a couple of sorted ways. One will be sorted by location, one by item, and one by category. Once this is accomplished I would like a sheet for each list, what I can't seem to do is; how do I make it so if I make a

Does anyone have an idea how I might go about creating a macro (or other solution) to enable me to generate a list of sequential numbers? I want to track an order book in an excel spreadsheet and allocate a new sequential number to each transaction. Naturally I could just do this

| Printing of Arrows | 21 Jan 2008 17:28 GMT | 2 |
I can't get lines with arrow points to print properly. They look fine on screen, but when printed (either to a printer or to a PDF file), the lines are not centered relative to the arrows. Or, the line will intersect the arrow point midway up or down the arrow lines, not where the

| + vs = | 21 Jan 2008 15:06 GMT | 2 |
I may have inadvertently changed a setting, cause I don't remember this happening before. If I enter a formula using a + sign, I get the result, not the formula. For example, +300/3 gives a result of 100. A control+U

| Autofill bug? | 21 Jan 2008 05:07 GMT | 3 |
I think I might have found an autofill bug. You can't autofill a series down closer than 2 cells above a row that has merged cells in the next column to the right. This also derails any applescripts (but without the error) that attempt
