After I customize the Excel toolbars I quit Excel 2008. When I start Excel again the toolbars revert to the original ones. How can I save my toolbar changes. Thanks.

Can find no method of printing just a chart in Office 2008. Selecting the
chart and going to print does not work. I could re-size it to cover up the
1st page, but I'd probably still get hash around the edges. I also miss the
Add-Ins (solver & goal-seek). Sounds like another MS ...

In previous versions of Excel, I could input a date in a cell and then write a formula of the form "=A1+7" in the adjacent cell to produce a date 7 days from the initial one. I could then fill to produce a row of dates as column headings for data to be entered beneath. I just tried

I just upgraded from office 2004 to 2008.
I'm working extensively with excel (pivot tables, getpivodata() etc...)
I found out that it is almost impossible to work with my pivot tables
with Excel 2008 (around 5000 lines of data in my case) : calculations

When I open Excel the "Project Gallery" opens up and if I click on
recent I get a list of files and options about how recent and what
format ...
The weird thing is that I have a file I use at least once a week.

hi, I have adobe illustrator CS3, I used to be able to copy and paste chart from excel 2004 to illustrator, but now I cannot do that with excel 2008, is it just me or did they remove this function? or this is a bug?

Right in the middle of input, Excel erro message appears and stops. Then reboots itself losing data not saved. What's up?

I have a problem with WORKDAY function on Office 2008.  Strangely, it assumes the weekend as Friday and saturday, so for instance today is Wednesday  23/01/08, if I type =workday(today();2), the result is 27/01/08, wich is sunday, instead of being 25/01/08, Friday.

Hi, In Excel 2004 I was able to set the default view to Draft simply by changing a blank document to Draft and quitting Excel.  In Excel 2008, I cannot figure out how to make the application startup with a blank document in Draft view and present all new documents to me in Draft mode

Greetings. I believe this was also not possible (or at least not obvious) in XL04, but is there a way in XL08 to set up a default Page Setup?  For instance, I ALWAYS want to print gridlines when I print something.  But it's kind of a hassle to EVERY TIME have to go through Page Setup,

When will Excel use multi-processors?  I see that one of my processors are pegged but the other is doing almost nothing.
