Hello, sorry for my poor english... I use Office Excel 2004 on a iMac 20' (alluminium) whit Leopard and, random, when i insert some text (number/letters) in a Excel cell typing by keyboard the text dont appear (also in the formula bar)..

In Mac for Excel, which I just bought, there's no place in the toolbar that shows the contents of a particular cell. When I see #REF in the cell, I want to know what's IN the cell in order to fix the reference? Is there a specific toolbar for that?

The numeric pad on the keyboard does work on the spread sheet. The keyboard is not defective as it operates with other Macs. It also will not work with the calculator. All software updats are current on Microsoft 2004.

How does Project Gallery (PG) "know" what files you've opened? I noticed that PG's list is not the same as the list of files under Files. I think that it is because some of the files were opened from either Finder or Spotlight and some were opened from the office

Trying to conditionally format cells that contain values such as "A3" and "C7". But can't sort out the formula properly. I can get "=A*" to find the A3 but how can I formulate something like "=[A-Z]*" to find all occurrences? Many thanks
