In Excel 2007 (Microsoft Office Home & Student), I can create and open a file
with no problem, initially.  The problem only occurs when you try and re-open
the same, or any other Excel file.  The program opens with a blank (light

Is there a way to write a formula to copy both the content AND
formatting of another cell?
I specifically want the text color to also be copied over.

Ive sen it done before where you can click a "clear" button on a
spreadsheet to clear data from a select set of cells, rather then
individually clearing them. I know i need to set up a macro but i dont

I have recently encountered a very perplexing problem.  When I open

I can't seem to break links in a workbook.  I go through the process
starting under "edit...links", select Break links, It gives me a
warning, which I OK and nothing happens.  One thing I notice is that
the update button is selected as Automatic and Manual is dimmed or not
