My 2007 version of Excel is unusable. Whenver I make an update, even something as simple as changing the font size in a cell or cells it takes forever. As soon as I hit the enter key I get the hourglass, within seconds a totally white screen with "Excel Not Responding" at the top ...

Does anyone know command key to anchor formula? With windows excel, it was F4. I can't seem to find it in help for Mac Excel...gracias!

How does one do this? I only see options for negative numbers to appear with a (-) sign or in red. I prefer them in parenthesis (Windows Excel allows this). Any suggestions?

I've just (last week) switched over from PC to Mac, so I'm still not familiar enough with Mac to fix many problems that are arising. In Excel (Office 2004), the standard toolbar has disappeared, even when it's checked off to appear. I don't know where it should be

When a small 4 worksheet workbook is opened it has suddenly started opening two identical copies of the workbook. Labelled workbook:1 and workbook:2. Modify one, the other modifies as well, save to a new file name, reopen and two copies appear. Any ideas.

All of my Excel docs, even the default, have margins that are 4 inches wide by 3.5 inches high. Page setup says the sheet is US Letter (8.5 x 11). Any change in the page setup does not change the margins. I have opened up the spreadsheet(s) on another machine and they are

Does anyone know of a way to get Excel to open up a file from the last directory accessed. I haven't found a way to do this. Every time I want to open a file it takes me back to my root directory and then I have to go through each sub-directory to get to where I want to go.

My copy commands, suddenly, will only copy values, not formulae. Never had this happen before. The receiving cell shows the copied formula on the toolbar, but the value shows up in the cell. Is this a cell formatting problem?

I have Office: X v10.1.9 and can't use the XIRR function. The ValuePack is installed but Analysis Toolpack is no where to be found. I tried to reload using my CD but it hangs up (the spinning wheel) and have to use "Force Quit".

When trying to highlight cells using the "Pick Fill Color" on the toolbar - it's not highlighted and can't be selected. Does anyone know how to change this so I can select a full range of colors from the color palette?
